Celebrating Partnerships: Our First Partner Event in Wöllersdorf

To recognize over 20 years of growth, the CYBERTEC team welcomed dozens of partners at the headquarters in Wöllersdorf this month. It was a great opportunity to share knowledge and sync about planning for continued success together.

Fueling growth through partnerships 

At CYBERTEC, we believe that our partners are more than just collaborators – they are an integral part of our brand. We wanted to give partners a chance  to connect with us on a personal level, to see the faces behind the company, and to feel the warmth of our community. With this goal in mind, we all came together for a 2-day event designed to foster relationships and share insights.

Day 1 at CYBERTEC HQ

Diving into the world of CYBERTEC, our guests met with leadership right away and got fired up by a series of exclusive sessions.

Product vision

We shared our vision for the future of our products, outlining the innovative directions we're heading in and how we plan to continue delivering exceptional value to our partners and customers.

Partnership in marketing

Another major item on the agenda was the topic of marketing. How can we utilise global synergies in a meaningful way? Unlock full marketing- and brand-recognition potential with joint market presence.
This was followed by a brief overview of the assets for our partners.

PostgreSQL support

Our commitment to providing top-notch PostgreSQL support was a key focus. We’re proud that partners trust our extreme Postgres knowledge, perfected over two decades of expertise and dedication. Together, we discussed strategies and resources for 2025.

CYBERTEC Migrator

We introduced our CYBERTEC Migrator, a powerful tool designed to simplify the migration process for our partners. This session highlighted its benefits, demonstrating how it can streamline operations – for one, it’s the fastest and easiest way to get off Oracle and onto Postgres!

CYPEX

Finally, we delved into CYPEX – the go-to for developing database-driven applications – exploring its capabilities and how it can enhance partner offerings. The discussions were lively, with plenty of questions and insights exchanged.

At the center of it all: Postgres, of course

A key focus of discussion was  PostgreSQL and its unique position in the market. We elaborated on how  PostgreSQL is not just about being the best database.  It’s about being consistently "good enough" to meet diverse needs while offering robust performance, all while being flexible to scale as organizations grow. This philosophy allows us to cater to a wide range of applications, making PostgreSQL a versatile choice for our partners and their clients.

We also provided our partners with the stage to showcase their own successes and innovations. These partner presentations were a fantastic opportunity for everyone to learn from one another and share insights that could benefit the entire community.

After an intense and insightful day, we got to enjoy an exclusive wine and dining experience at the Johanneshof Reinisch winery. In addition to an excellent meal, we had a chance to explore the wine cellar.

Day 2 at CYBERTEC HQ

Continuing the learning journey, including a deep dive into Kubernetes

Day 2 focused on learning from each other through interactive feedback sessions. These sessions were designed to gather insights from our partners, fostering an environment of open communication and collaboration.

Following the feedback sessions, we transitioned into a more theoretical discussion on PostgreSQL and Kubernetes. The integration of PostgreSQL with Kubernetes opens up new possibilities for scalability and efficiency, and our partners were eager to explore these opportunities. Partner Awards wrap up the event on a high note

Last but certainly not least, the  Partner Award presentation drew a lot of attention. We appreciate the hard work and dedication of our partners.
